Christmas Day is fading away

My Christmas started on the 14th I arranged a get together with some Friends and Neighbour's for a Local Pub. We exchanged gifts and Card best of all a good old natter and catch up.It took 3hrs and it put me in the Christmas Spirit.
Another Art Party which was fun we were all asked  to bring a painting that we liked doing. Guess what only two Paintings were on display. But I got a lot of good feed back and now it's hanging up with pride in my Study.I am so glad that I brought it to the Party.

I also had time to visit my Friend who had moved into a Brand New House. She is so Happy and loves her surroundings. I am going to help her in the Spring to build a Rockery in her front Garden.

On Christmas  morning I went to visit my elderly Neighbour in a Care Home with his Daughter. We had Ham Sandwiches, Mince Pie and Chocolate Biscuits, finished by several cups of tea. He had a read of his cards and loved his presents. The Staff is wonderful  there very kind and helpful.

My lovely Daughter Karen was with us on Christmas day she is such good fun. We always have fun with Meringue's. But this year I made Choux Pastry Cygnets  for us to assemble on Christmas  after the Queen's Speech. I made the necks too big The body was too small and the cream was too thick.
The heads were falling off' then the wings were drooping .Better luck next time.

Its going to be Gingerbread People next time. Ha Ha!

Wishing you all a really healthy and happy New Year in 2015.

Worry looks around. Sorry looks back,Faith looks up and Hope looks forward.
Think big thoughts, but relish small pleasures.

See you all I will be back soon.xx
